Thanks. The 1st & 2nd visit was at my old address. The 3rd visit was at my current address, I have lodged a complaint with the ACEA & the local council as they charge me the van & attendance fee for the visit brfore they did the levy so fingers crossed ! Yogarocks, if I were you I'd go back to the council to advise that they should not have charge this amount as the property was unoccupied as mentioned so should not have been charged & state you will go to the Ombusman if they do not resolve this to your satisfaction. Also worth getting a breakdown of charges from the bailiff as it sound like they have overcharged you as they obviously didn't gain entry with you at that address & I assume your car was not outside the rented property for them to levy against.

Hi Pnpsuknet, I did pay it all as I just got a notice through the door & when I spoke to the bailiff he said he was taking my car that day if i did, obviously i panicked & paid. I have since asked for a breakdown of charges, etc & have been battling the bailiff company & now have taken it to the ACEA although interesting they wouldn't take the case unless I stated I wasn't intending to take it to court... I did state carefully at that time i did not intend to go to court :)
