We played a game called "Know your hens" at the hen do I helped organise last year. This can be done in a bar or at someones house, just so long as everyone can gather round and listen to what's being said.
Each hen writes down a funny, unusual or silly fact about themselves on a separate piece of paper that the Bride-to-Be has to guess. We had facts like
"I like tuna and crisp sandwiches"
"I'm 11 inches shorter than my partner"
"One of my legs is longer than the other"
"My mother once got me arrested to teach me a lesson"
(the trick is to choose something that is the bride might not know, but could guess becuase she knows you)
A shot (of the Bride's choosing) is poured for every hen and one person reads out the facts one at a time so that the bride can't guess from the handwriting who wrote them.
When the bride guesses correctly that person has to take the shot, when she gets it wrong, she has to drink the shot.
It's good as a warm up and really gets conversations starting!0 -
Hi, Im going to a friends hen night this month and thought I would show you what I have made for her.
I brought a cheap little photo album from wilkos (39p) and foung a gift bag with the glass on it for 99p and confetii for 99p. I then brought a lucky sixpence from Ebay for 99p +50p post and the bride to be bade/rosette for £1.00 + £1.00 postage.
I am going to give it to her on the night with a disposable camara so she can put her pics and other bits in it from the night
