Hi quite new to this site but love it , im hoping someone can help give me a rough idea of decorating charges etc. Quotes i have had seem a bit high
I have 3 quotes for the work i need doing including stripping and wallpapering hall, stairs and landing, including painting 8 doors and all skirting board and a coat of paint for ceiling . Also stripping small bedroom walls and applying lining paper and paint to walls , no window frame to paint but skirting and door need painting and coat of paint for the ceiling .Walls in both rooms are in good condtion.
Quotes i have range from £1100 to £1400 and i have no idea if this is reasonable or not, im quite willing to pay this if it is the going rate but just need reassuring really ! Thanks in advance

Depends on size and depending how many coats of paint required on doors and skirting, but sounds like three days work. At £300 a day plus materials, £1100 sounds like the going rate.0 -
