Hi All,
Sorry if this has been posted before..... i'm being sneaky at work and using internet.
Basicall went BR on 16th March, have opened a co-op account before we went BR.
I cancelled all my DDs with Natwest, but they don't seem to have closed my account, which I was expecting - though we don't owe them any money. I just looked and the someone has tried to take a DD but i had cancelled it. will I get charged by natwest for these things? No money is goign to go into the account.
Also just had my gas bill and I have a debit of over £180 on there, they reclaculated by DDbs and now want me to pay £30 elec and £121 Gas
If i had the arrears added to my BR (didnt list them) will BG make me go on a meter?
Thanks in advance

Hello PS, you can add the debts to your BR just ring your OR. And yes I think BG may insist on a meter or you can change supplier x"If wishes were horses, then beggars would ride"

Hello, I am interested in this one too because I have done exactly the same as you and have approx £50 in bank charges for things not being paid out by my bank. I was expecting to include these charges in the BR, is this what you were wanting to know?0

As long as you do not touch it any transactions that happen will fall into your BR including charges etc.

thanks for that, good news about the bank account, was really worried about that.
Not sure what to do about the gas? I don't really want to go on a meter, don't think my landlord would be too happy with me.
Will it matter to the OR if I pay off some arrears with any surplus I have? or is that not ok?
thanks0 -
Not sure but you could allways ask OR. Only prob your not suppoased to favour one creditor over another. with it going to cause problems and a small amount OR might let it go.
