Tesco's have reduced their price from £60 down to £33.
I paid £50 for one from argos about 3 weeks ago. My other son liked it so much I bought another one from Tesco.
I don't know how long stocks will last!

These are at Very god price but That's because there 'Naff'. They were launched at £80, reduced to £50 before Christmas (£40 at Tesco's) and now they are not selling reduced to only £33 at Tesco.
It's a good idea but 20 Minute Disks are £8 Each! By the time you have bought a Player and a few disks you would have enough for a cheap portable DVD Player (which offers a lot more features etc)0 -
I am told that the reason the Videonow playr has not taken off is mainly due to the fact that the same technology is now available for the GBA (Game Boy Advance) which loads of kids already have and has a much better screen than the Videonow
The videonow is great for younger kids (in my opinion 6 or under) as they are sturdy and most of the limited range of titles are for that age range
great little things though, buy one and put it away as a future collectable? Who knows!donstermonster0 -
Does not matter what they are like 'cos they are out of stock...0

I know they have limitations. I thought this before I bought one,but for a young child they are great! They only have 4 buttons, you just press play and it starts without any on/off switch and turns off pressing stop. The screen is flat on top so no chance of breaking any hinge if dropped unlike a portable dvd.
You can buy a pack of 3 discs from the likes of argos for around £13(£4.33 each) and they have 30 mins on each disc. They have stock at my local store in Formby. they may be out on the web but I would check instore
The GBA player is not as robust and it is still in its infancy. One good alternative if you a GBA is the GBA video player. see link
