do you have to declare an insurance claim during the bankruptcy in scotland
would they take the whole claim off you?
edit to clarify. would you have to notify the accountant in bankruptcy if you recieve money from an insurance claim?

Hiya Tron
You have to tell your Trustee if you acquire any money during your bankruptcy.
It's impossible for us to say if they'd take any of it - it would depend what it was for, how much you'd got, and who knows what else.
Sorry that's not more help.0 -
thanks for the replies....the thing im claiming for occurred way before the bankruptcy
would this still have to be declared even though its for injuries sustained
i wouldnt mind really if i have to declare as i can call it quits and pay back some of my debt (wish i was a bank they get off for free)0
