Cancel the direct debits so that the money due to be taken isn't. Also cancel the bank / debit card associated to that account. The payday companies will contact you requesting full payment. Advise them that you are unable to pay the balance in full but offer to pay in installments at an amount you can afford. (stand your ground on the amount as they will push you for more)
Sometimes they will refuse but again stand your ground they will accept in the end.

Thanks for the reply.
What I'm really after is some sort of email script that can be sent to request payplan / freezing of interest etc.
Just want to get off of this train ASAP ( and never get back on it ).
FYI : companies are : Wonga / Payday Express / Payday Uk / Quickquid / Safeloans.
So if anyone could supply me with a mail they have sent to a pday firm that would be ace.
cheers

The trouble is the loan companies wont do anything or listen until you have defaulted. Once this has happened you will be able to negotiate a repayment plan.
DO NOT PHONE THEM make sure everythin g is done in writing or via email.0 -

I have defaulted
So would like to start the process of setting up Payments, But really need a script to mail to them.
I figure if they freeze the interest I'll have them all paid off in 5mnths tops.
