A blast of wintry weather is expected to hit parts of the UK later this week, dashing hopes for some sunshine as British Summer Time gets under way. The Met Office has issued an early weather warning for Tuesday as heavy rain and snow is expected to fall over northern England and southern Scotland.
BBC Weather's Liam Dutton said hilly areas could see up to 50mm (2ins) of rain or 20cm (8ins) of snow.
Meanwhile, temperatures may drop to close to freezing in some parts
Miss the boat last time round? Had to pay 4k extra because the snow had gone? Find yourself battling against 24 other people for the same house as it had turned out to be a pleasant day, with the sun breaking through the clouds?
Well now's your chance, get that house offer in, and strike while the iron's cold.
The spring snap is upon us, and once again, no doubt it will be to blame for absolutely everything.
3% fall in house prices this month folks...... it's about to get a little bit nippy.

There's a really nice house for sale in our village. Its a little isolated and you need to drive up a 5-in-1 dirt track to get there. I'm thinking of booking a viewing the day the snow is due and camping outside the night before.
Clearly I'll be the only person to view it on a snowy day and I figure the seller will be so pleased that he'll knock 10% off the price. What do you think?0

Oh god not more snow, it doesnt seem possible. I don't trust these weather forecasting folk any more than I do house-price predictors.0

            It won't happen here! 0 0

 What!? Are you crazy!?
 15%, minimum.
The seller should fall over themselves, what with a bit of snow melting on the roof. Once past their initial shock, they will think they are onto a clear winner here, they may even say "b...b...sir, are you crazy, it's snowing" but never fear, they are just completely flustered by the fact someone want's to buy a house, and there's a sprinkling of snow on the ground.
Just bear in mind you only have a small window, a week, after that, offering 5% under the asking price would have you shown the door!0

Reminds me of last year, It's a [STRIKE]Spring[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]Summer[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]Autumn[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]Winter[/STRIKE] bounce, it always happens every year.
1 month negative data and it get some a bit chipper.
I would not get too cocky as you may need the winter to explain away any data that does not go the way you wanted it.;)
Nationwide tomorrow, lets see how the cold is portrayed if that shows a rise.
"Oh but it was very cold the start of the year and stamp duty"
 "Just people putting back purchases."
 "Fully understandable, nothing to see."
"Look at this picture froth, froth." 0 0

I see you are taking full advantage of cheaper cider before they put the tax up.
 Good lad!0

Judging by the subject, I take it you got as much mephedrone down you neck before they baned it. Then started on the Cider.:pGraham_Devon wrote: »I see you are taking full advantage of cheaper cider before they put the tax up.

Tounge in cheek here but if your advocating a 15% drop for a few days of snow this coming week, what does this mean for times when the sun shines like the last few days and possibly after the couple of days snow?:wall:
What we've got here is....... failure to communicate.
Some men you just can't reach.
