Hi
I wonder if anyone can help... my girlfriends laptop became soooo slow that we bought an external hard-disk, copied all her photos/music and files, including her copy of microsoft office she downloaded and paid for, and then restored the computer to factory settings.
Unfortunately, it appears Office wont just run off the external disk, for some reason. Is there anyway I can get it back?
Thanks

When you say you "copied" her copy of Office... do you mean you copied the whole setup files, or did you try to copy the installed C:\prog files\microsoft\Office folders??
What happens when you double click the Setup.exe file?
I take it you still have the key for the prog, if so, can you borrow a disk from someone else? use that to install and use your own product key0 -

Does she still have the key for the copy she "downloaded and paid for"? Which version?0 -
just log back in to Microsoft site and download it again, any key you bought will be there also.
