Little bit at a time...

But every little helps said the old lady as she pee'd in the sea! (thanks Dad for that one)
I have been 'overpaying' my debt bills for a few months now, that is things such as catalogues, ikea card, credit card etc. Even if I can only manage a couple of quid over the minimum payment. Like to think I have not got too much debt but 4k on a credit card and a few little bits here and there are beginning to weigh heavy on my mind.
At least by doing this I will clear them a BIT sooner.
I have a mortgage box but I can't pay off any of the capital because of legal probs with the ex :( (i.e. he will get MORE money if I make my mortgage smaller as there will be more equity in the property.) T*sser:rolleyes:

And OMG spendaholics woman spending 2k a year on bottled water. At least Im not so extravagant!

  • £2000 seems a lot, but that works out at about £5 a day, which is the same as a smoker of 20 a day, at least water is healthier;)

flippin heck! if she's that bothered about not drinking tap water, she should invest £20 on a britta filter, and then £60 a year on replacement cartridges, she'd save a fortune!!

I wish I had something like that I could cut back on, but I don't! I suppose I could cycle everywhere but my bus ticket is only £7.50 a week, and I would be too late for some jobs if I cycled :(
