Do you mean you want to fold it up when it's not being used?
I would recommend the one I have, but it doesn't fold down. It's absolutely brilliant. It's very strong. Winds up and down. It's a Hills Hiost and cost almost £200. You can hang king size sheets on it. I have a family of 6 and there's loads of room on it.
The lines are all straight, not like an upside down umbrella. I was having to limbo to get to the inside lines with my old one!
I got my one cheaper from a local builders merchant. http://www.airershop.co.uk/HillsViledaSupexHoistUltraHeavyDutyRotaryAirer.htm0 -

£233.53(inc p&p) for a clothes airer:eek:is it made of 9ct gold?0 -
I got mine for just over £180. I've had cheap ones and they've been horrible. These come with a 10yr guarantee. If you look at the Australian versions, many of them have been going for decades. I'm not sayiing you can't get half decent ones for a lot less. I'm just saying that I have this one and it's very sturdy and I wouldn't swop it.0

Your's has more hanging space - and I thought my one was plenty big.
If the quality is as good as my one, then that's an excellent price.0 -
Well ,mines only 2 year old but its still like new but it weighs a ton ,you cant really keep putting it up and down ,its more a permanent structure tbh .
