Ok Im selling one of my Standard Life endowments with Surrenda Link and they have asked for our Original Policy Document.
Now its a long time since we originally took this policy out but looking through my bumf..........Ive found an official looking thing that says Policy Schedule with all the info about the policy on it.
Im assuming this is the original
Just wanted to make sure im sending the right thing so as not to hold up the payment.
Thanks in anticipation for any help.

I don't think that is the policy.
The actual Policy should have been placed with the deeds as security.
You may either have to pay the Lender to extract the policy from the deeds or pay the life company for a duplicate policy.
Then again maybe they will go with the Schedule. After all the searching life is what i make it!0 -

In the auld days this was a requirement, but not now.Even if your endowment does still require the lender to release it, there should be no problem and no charge.Trying to keep it simple...0
