Cashback Offer on Remortgage - Advice Required

Hi,
Hoping for a little advice here to see if its worth chasing something up. I've been sitting on a pretty good 5 year fixed rate offer (4.54%) for the last few months and was about to draw-down the amount but I've just noticed something when re-reading my mortgage offer. When I went to see a mortgage advisor at the HSBC, I was informed that there would be a cashback of 400 pounds payable on successful draw-down and this was included in my key-facts documentation which I still have. I agreed on this product etc with the advisor and then signed the official offer documentation when this was posted out. However, I failed to notice that the reference to the cashback had been omitted from the final offer and signed the documentation anyway. I know I've been totally stupid and haven't got a leg to stand on legally but do you think its worth me going back to my mortgage advisor to see if he could somehow get this cashback offer honoured as a gesture of good-will. If not, I'm half-thinking of not bothering to draw-down the mortgage now, I feel it is a bit of a sneaky move by them even though I'm kicking myself for being so stupid. Any advice would be gratefully accepted anyway
Thanks in advance
