BR Date tomorrow!

Hi guys,

First of all, a big thank you again to everyone who has helped in my previous posts.

Well I took my forms to court on Thursday, paid my fee and have my hearing at 11am tomorrow.

Finally, the first hurdle will be over .

Just a couple more questions;

I am being hassled by a DCA for a DVLA fine of £80. I was fined for not taxing a car that was handed back to finance company last year. The car was handed back Feb and tax due at end of May. I finally got a letter saying I dont own the car in the September.

They're quoting all kinds of quotes from the traffic act and i'm nervous about my licence / points?

Should I ask the OR in my quick call tomorrow from the court?

Also I opened my new Barclays a/c last Mon, wages went in on Friday (paid weekly), but haven't received my card yet. Will they freeze it as it has a couple of hundred pounds in it from last week, although I do need it for rent/bills etc.

I can't get to the bank before my hearing .

The fine will not be a bankruptcy debt and so the OR will not get involved, ie it is not their job to say if the law has been correctly applied.

They probably wont freeze it

Thanks everyone for all your good lucks... I feel them

I gave my forms to court on Thursday so not got to worry about that *phew*.

Just gotta turn up at 11 and the BR clerk I saw the other day, said I wont even need to see the judge. So fingers crossed this is true.

I'll be back tomorrow with a full update x
