    I dont know whether this will help you in the future but when you finally get your PC back to normal having cleared it of malware it might be good idea to download something to specifically prevent the man in the browser problem. Try googling Rapport. I have this on my PC. Here is a brief description of what it does:
    The purpose of the browser lockdown is to prevent malware known as Man-in-the-Browser from accessing the browser itself, as well as keystrokes typed into the browser, and communication that enters and leaves the browser. While the browser is locked down, malware cannot read the content of web pages, or information entered into these websites. Malware cannot tamper with web pages or web communication.
    Maybe the techie guys on here can confirm whether this is worth doing.

    I wouldnt touch rapport with a bargepole

    OK guys, back to the matter in hand (!), still wating the for the 'express scan' to finish on DrWeb its now half way through (its very thorough) How long is the full scan gonna take?!!

    Also, does anyone know that if Ive do this last scan, my PC will be OK? I really need to start banking online etc with my business/home accounts aaargghhhh!!!!

    If dr web comes back clean id say your ok (Itll take hours, 12-20 isnt unheard of!)

    That said, if your unsure at all (Soemthing doesnt seem right to you) then it is possible your still infected

    The 'only' way to be 100% certain is to format the hardrive and start afresh

    Dr Web ~
    "After that set to scan the WHOLE computer and press the 'play' icon"

    Log files can be obtained here or here ~
    C:\Program Files\DrWeb
    C:\Users\username\DoctorWeb

    Dont bother posting any of the log unless it FINDS ANYTHING in which case only post the nasties it found and where they are

    If your not sure of the integrity of your windows install (while your working through the fixes), you can still use a "live" CD and boot into that to do any banking etc without worrying about any windows based malware giving you problems.

    Its a good "get out of jail free" card;
