Yesterday evening in Tesco 'Crooksfoot' in Ashford, Kent, noticed that virtually all the Tesco own brand outdoor toys had been marked down to half price or less
e.g. Pogo stick (nice metal one) was £7.97, now £3.97.
Also - all the inflatable and water play toys. - not surprising really as we have a drought order in Kent!
Lots of other really good bargains too - It applies to Tesco own brand - mostly packaged in blue boxes.
Still plenty of time for the kids to enjoy them in the holidays!
Even better - the pogo sticks went through the checkout at full price, which meant I was able to claim a full refund and keep the goods - see this thread for more details of the 'refund and replace' policy. However, this glitch is likely to be fixed by now.

Easy solution - buy another at new price and take it back using the receipt from the full price one.
Or - take receipt for full price one to customer services if they will give you a refund for the difference - they might do some kind of price promise thing.0 -
was thinking of doing this actually, anyone know how likely it is they'll pay difference?0
-
Not sure if they will pay the difference but I would buy another set and return another day with your more expensive receipt and the goal posts.0

isn't that a bit dishonest........0

Yep!! Great Isnt It HeheheYou're not drunk if you can lie on the floor without holding on0

I wouldn't say its dishonest. You are buying the same product twice, and you are entitled to return an unused product. Maybe I am just a dishonest person when it comes to a company like Tesco!0
