32" Full HD LCD TV with 3 Year warranty £280

Aldi are doing this TV Full HD 3 Year warranty - no idea what it's like but not a bad price for the features and warranty even as a bedroom / kids TV. Deal starts Sunday and sure they will sell out quick.

Obviously pick up in store and not sure if they accept credit cards in these stores?

That's OK - maybe you could repost on here as to terms of quality and satisfaction with the product if you get it?

Would get one myself if they accepted CC but can't justify it to my OD unfortunately!!

    Cheers

Yes but it is £83 more so for moneysaving the OP is better.

Also Toshiba are very low down for TVs according to Which. They average 51% in tests. Saying that the person I know with a Toshiba it looks good.

Panasonic and Sony are the best brands and then Samsung according to Which who are independent.

There is also the issue of whether you can actually notice the full HD on screens of this size but that is something else. If you have an HD source like SKY HD or VIRGIN HD or PS3 or Bluray it may be noticeable.

Personally I think it looks like a pretty good TV for the price. I would take a punt on one, over the Toshiba at the price.

    im not disagreeing
ive seen plenty of screens from various makes and various picture quality
however when i buy a TV im looking at years of viewing and it would annoy me if it was a poor quality image/sound
i wasnt recommending the tosh, just an example of the price difference

Yes - I guess you can't see any of those things in Aldi. But if I got it home and it was shi7e I'd just return it.

As I said if i had the ££ I would take a punt even if just for a bedroom TV. I know that their Medion PCs and laptops get excellent reviews and good spec. Dunno about the TVs but I always seem to want one when they come up and never have enough readies!! :o

The other thing about Richer Sounds is that when I have seen something I fancy and phone up as it says in store only they NEVER have it in stock in my local one. Someone has always "just bought the last one"! So I wonder if a lot of their ads are BS.

From forums I have been on this seems to be a pretty good deal and most users rate their Medion products quite highly.

Just to put the other side of the coin for Richer Sounds, when I have phoned for things in adverts they have always had them in stock, maybe I just beat the rush if its at a particularly good price, so no BS for me:money:
On a side note also had a Medion computer for a few years now no problems to note.

Could just be the luck of the draw I guess. Aldis Medion computers do seem to get very good write ups so I guess the TVs can't be bad either.
