CCA letter for unenforceable loans

I don't blame it all on the bank, but they harassed me every day. They were not nice to deal with. It reminded me when I was younger and my Dad raising some money on our house and the bank guy coming around to take a list of all our belongings.
theres a group-hug-forum out there somewhere for you....in the meantime, stop using your parental issues to justify your terrible behaviour. DankeHi, we’ve had to remove your signature. why just a branch or online, credit used to be pushed on you everywhere you went shops, service stations and even television the banks wanted you to get in debt
he didnt convince them of anything they took what they needed from the cra's and their own credit scoring. their decision would have been based on this alone and certainley not anything he could have said .
with the belief that the banks know what they're doing and everythings legal and above board with your credit agreements
more like you find out that the banks couldnt run a !!!! up in a brewery and that the huge chunk of money your paying to them every month doesnt actually need repaying because THEY couldnt follow the law no loophole involved
no they shouldnt well not without a compliant agreement at least, his ability to repay has no bearing
im glad you realise that
no but they should be acting illegally
now i know you dreaming. ppi isnt worth the paper its written on and again it not needed because the banks acted illegally in the first place
i cant speak for the other poster but if id have had debts deemed unenforcable i'd be over the moon and i'd tell everyone else to check their agreements as well
a bit personal dont you think it only a discussion about unenforcability no need for insults
Literally the worst use of quoting ever. Moment.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -

I'm trying hard to understand what side of the fence you sit. At the moment it looks as if your rear end is stuck firmly on the spikey bit in the middle. I'm assuming so, after saying I am using my 'parental issues' -whatever they are, to justify my terrible behaviour. Haven't I been a good boy?;):DAsk me no questions, and I'll tell you no lies0 -

Apples02, you are talking rubbish my 'friend'. Believe it or not I used to be a Financial Advisor in the 1980's and 1990's, and in the meantime managed to acquire a number of properties, which are rented out.
Some of the deposits actually came from Credit Cards and loans hence a rather large consumer debt of about 50k. I also tried several other business ventures. One particular venture was a General Store. Sadly this failed. I don't blame it all on the bank, but they harassed me every day. They were not nice to deal with. It reminded me when I was younger and my Dad raising some money on our house and the bank guy coming around to take a list of all our belongings.
So going back a few years I was sitting down with quite a bit of unsecured debt having had the bank pull the plug on the General Store. Immediately I thought about selling one of the properties, then I read a very interesting item from a QC, saying how many of these agreements were unenforceable. This was prior to anything appearing on MSE. I actually mentioned it at the time on here. I think it was 2006/7 and had a PM from Martin about it. He was reluctant to have any involvement in promoting this for reasons you might expect. I don't blame him for that.
So since then I have fought tooth and nail, with these lenders to have these agreements quashed. I have dealt with Debt Collecting Agencies who have called 3 times a day. I have read all the absolute drivel they have sent me in the post. I have seen nearly every underhand trick they use.
In court I won on each account except one. On this particular one I paid privately for a Barrister to help me with an appeal. He won. All debts were quashed and defaults removed!!
So please don't talk to me about morals. These banks have no morals. It is survival of the fittest out there in business. My family come before any bank and if in years to come my son/daughter asks about what happened I'll tell them. Not to be proud. But to warn them how how underhanded some of these lenders can be, and never to borrow money if you can't easily pay it back. Not now it is post 2007 that is!!
and who starts a sentence with "So"?? Thats just wrong.

Great, So now we know where you stand. You could have spelt that out in the beginning. Nothing worse than somebody who makes posts, and you can't understand what they are trying to say.
Not sure about the thief bit though. I think you really need to look up the definition. I think it goes something like 'a criminal who takes property belonging to someone else with the intention of keeping it or selling it'.
I didn't take it with a view to keeping it or selling it. I intended to pay it back at the time. If I hadn't intended doing that it would have been called 'fraud' - look that one up it might educate you!! It was years down the road that I decided against repaying it.Ask me no questions, and I'll tell you no lies0 -

I for one do not believe that you have had 11 loans written off.(Unless you were just not worth chasing). If you want to prove me wrong I would be very interested.0 -
@ Wutang
The banks deserve all they get imo.
They WANT you to borrow and be in debt - money is created by debt. Look up fractional reserve banking for starters!
Why do you think they've been giving easy credit for years?
Banks have no morals - look at thier laughable tv adverts, "here for the journey / another way" and all that tosh!. They are there until you have an issue and instead of trying to help you get through it they lose all morals immediately!
They use their "agreements" to extract as much money from you as possible in any way they can. So, lets use their "agreements" to get right back at them! - Love it or hate it, it's the law!
A friend just had a letter from one of his cc companies saying they are increasing the apr from 29 to 39% as from this month! Well, that's REALLY thoughtful of them in today's economic climate isn't it!
If the lending institutions actually HAD any morals and tried to help, people would be far less likely to go down the cca route. They bring it upon themselves.Happiness, is a Kebab called Doner.....:heart2::heart2:0 -

I'm not sure how I can prove to you to be honest. I don't really feel inclined posting all my info on here, but if you are really interested pop along to the Consumer Action Group and you'll see a number I've had written off on there. It also gives a running diary on some of them. As for worth chasing. I'm not sure why companies would issue court proceedings, attend court, and then decide that I'm not worth chasing???Ask me no questions, and I'll tell you no lies0
