Cotton bud with liquid makeup remover on. Try not to push it further into the carpet or spread it though.

Works for mascara, eyeshadow etc too ;)

As for blood - if it's fresh, then salt on it is meant to help but I've not tried it :D

    Thanks!

Will that still work if I let it dry in? Have no liquid remover, she only has wipes. Could get some tomorrow tho?

I haven't tried wipes - they might be ok but might spread it too much. I've done mascara and eyeliner pencil with the liquid remover, when it's been there for a while (week or so) but not sure about liquid eyeliner.

Cool. Will give it a bash tomorrow. I think the wipes would just spread it.

If the carpet is made from polypropylene, you can use bleach.

I have recently discovered the carpet cleaner stuff from Poundland. It is amazing! I think it is called Xanto or something. I had a black oil stain on my cream rug from when my dh was fixing the car, and it just lifted it out so well that I have to clean the rest of the rug as it looks dirty now beside the clean bit! Quite a few MSE ers have reccommended it.

Cream carpet?. Eye liner?. A two year old?

Got to be a first child.

I can only wish you the best of luck.
I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.

At least they did not hurt themselves with it!
Baby wipes might be a try as they seem to shift all manner of things, or a solution of washing powder in warm water (ideally washing liquid such as ariel as it dissolves better).
