Snaggs, try Freegle for a tumble dryer. Could you get some cheap ipod speakers for in the car? Have you tried bleeding the radiators to see if that's the problem?
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

Thanks Ames, just trying how to post a wanted ad on Freegle now.

I really hate tinny music so the cheap speakers would just bug me I think, and it would probably be cheaper to get it fixed than to buy decent ones. Guess I'll just have to sing! :D

Thanks - I applied to Warm Front last year but never heard anything so assumed I wasn't eligible.

Have just spoken to my Dad and he's going to come over tomorrow to try to fix the heating. He said he will have a look at the dryer too to check it's not just the drive belt before I buy a new one, but will stick the wanted ad on Freegle anyway, just in case.

Just checked my savings and have just about enough for car tax and new tumble dryer, but if the heating ends up being expensive, I will be back in debt again.... :wall:

Ah well, can't be helped. It's not like I ran up the debt buying designer underwear and shoes...

They took ages to get back to me tbh I'd forgotten about it when the dude rocked up at the house! Might be worth a chase?

Hi all. Been to church today, done a bit of food shopping that cost a flippin fortune coz DD2 and DS were with me (makes mental note to go back to ordering online again).

Home now.....washing in and hopefully on line in a bit. Need to clear DD1s bed of all my carp as she's home from Uni tomorrow (yay!!) for Easter. Also want to go into the loft and have a root around for my summer stuff as hols fast approaching (excited.... moi??.....just a lot).

DD2 also wants me to make her a necklace for her dad's wedding in a couple of months so might have a browse on bead websites later.

Pork chops, butternut squash mash, broccoli and gravy for dinner - yum.

The weight I've lost means that my jeans I was wearing to Bun's party nearly ended up round my ankles during the church procession - oops but yay at the same time. Only 4 more pounds to go then I'll be at my goal weight.
YOUR = belonging to you (your coat); YOU'RE = you are (I hope you're ok)

really....it's not hard to understand :T

I did watch it last night - not sure why really as I have it on DVD anyway, but it's so funny it's worth repeat viewings!

    I looooove him.

He's touring Australia this year so no tour dates for over here, just Bestival. Maybe next year eh.

Worryingly, I did look rather like him when I woke up this morning - my hair and eyeliner were identical! :rotfl:
