Brilliant news!! Just discussed with OH and he agreed to give up too!!:j

Boo - decided that probably wouldn't find in the library down here so went to Amazon - theres a book for women as well as the normal one. Do I get us one each or can females give up with the original??! I need a ciggie!

I'm sure you're right, but it worked for me, and I am still astonished at how easy it was, even after 20 years of full-on (escalating) puffing.

Now, what I really need is an easy way to shift the smoking-cessation-related pounds, apart from boring old "eat less, exercise more" (which is 1,000,000 x more difficult than stopping smoking :D)

Aye - my mum and dad trying quitting together about 25 years ago - my mum was a very light social smoker and my dad a chimney. My dad found it really easy, and hasn't smoked since. My mum is still a 5 a day gal!

I'm not sure if anything I could suggest for shifing lbs is legal!

FANTASTIC! :T :T to both of you. (Just remember not to call it "giving up", cos you're not giving up anything)

  • I hope so!!! I've gone from 20+ a day to around 40 per week

    So £5.10 x 7 = £35.70, now £5.10 x 2 = £10.20

And I really notice the difference, I'm going to try and stop full time at the end of next week
    go for it!
