Wow, we're only talking about House Prices here, people........
"Jus' the facts, Sir"
"Jus' the facts, M'am"

We can afford to buy, just not one that's as nice as the one we rent. Price of a nice 3-bed house is about £300k, in our village about £400k. We've only been doctors for 4 years so plenty of pay increments in the next 10 years.
:rotfl:
Ahhhh, yes.
The old "I'm a poor FTB who can only afford a 300K house, not a 400K house, it's soooooo unfair" routine.
What an emergency.......
House prices are going nowhere fast so no rush.
.
Really? And how much have Bath prices risen since trough?;)
You're in danger of achieving Brit1234 levels of notoriety with statements like that.“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.

The last 12 months have been "noise".
Reality will be checking in anytime soon.
The scottish housing market is a completely different kettle of fish.
Outside the likes of Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen a detached house probably costs half as much as a typical one down south so the market hasnt taken the same hit as the rest of the UK.0 -

A whole 8% rise from trough.
Still 9.5% down from peak.0 -

I'm intrigued why you reported that post and not post 8.
Surely it's far more personal and abusive than commenting on an areaI'm sorry, but just read that bit above.
Only a complete f*cking w4nker could write something like that.

What we've got here is....... failure to communicate.
