  • I'm not sure if VIP adds much in a practical sense. There is a special "VIP lounge" in the Forums area which you'll now be able to access, and which allegedly sometimes has offers before they go out in public, but I've not seen much.

There is an extra deal there on Amazon once you are a VIP there - the thread on it is in the VIP Lounge bit, so have a look at that next time you visit.

silly question, do you have to use your registered email address or could you use another one for forms?
Unless it says otherwise you can use any email address. I have a free hotmail type email address I use specifically for that sort of thing.

I almost daily did the "search anything" clickthrough without any success so I stopped doing it a couple of months ago.
Yesterday I looked at my statement and surprise surprise there were a whole bunch of "search anything credits"!

There's a new offer: £1 cashback for taking out a free trial with Garlik DataPatrol (online identity check). Takes 5 minutes:

Ive seen the garlik whatchamacallit on pigsback before and when reading through decided not to do it as my data is better protected(in my opinion),if I dont give it out in the first place. Also it says something about being free for the first year and I dont fancy a nice little christmas present next year of being told actually I now have to pay as 'for the first year' implies carrying on with it for another year.

I get at least one set of points credited for this every day that I search. I clear the cookies before I log in to rpoints.

  • I clear cookies every time I log onto Rpoints and Topcashback. Search Anything seems to be very hit and miss for me. I am having to be quite inventive to get it to register. Thankfully, I work in financial services so know what to put in, e.g. ISA transfer, PEP transfer, Income Protection, Child Trust Fund, etc.

It doesn't seem to track just any search. I seem to have to do a different one each time. Anyone else having this problem????

I just click on the rpoints link, and then on any of the credit cards listed on the front page of Search Anything. I don't have to type things in to get the points.
