Excel Car Parking once again

Hi Folks
Newly registered after observing the forums for quite a while. Great advice from you knowledgeable people.
Have fallen foul of the Sheffield Muggers, Excel Car Parking.
I parked, paid for three hours and displayed. Two-and-a-half hours later returned to car with shopping. Paid for a further three hours and displayed. Continued to shop. Two hours later returned to car - a ticket affixed to door window claiming Contravention Code 94 'Parked without displaying ticket'.
Strange that the ticket was timed during my first period of parking but was not fixed to my car till later in the day.
Now the first letter has arrived in the post.Red, blue and black - and yellow on the reverse. Nice start to my collection of unenforceable notices.
I notice that on the letter it gives a link for convenience in paying online and this includes the words fine_payment.htm
Bit cheeky eh?
However, I will not be responding to Excel - will just sit and see what happens. Will update as things unfold.
Nice to see such sound advice on these forums. Keep it up guys.:T

Glad to see you checked before posting, it makes it so much easier. Almost as easy as you ignoring them.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

Update.
Have now received further letter from Excel Parking. This time the link for convenience to pay online ends with the words 'pcn_payment.htm' instead of the earlier 'fine_payment.htm'.
Also this latest letter says 'Failure to pay this notice WILL result in court proceedings'. Strong arm tactics eh?
Taking your advice and have not contacted them. Waiting for the next coloured letter to add to my collection.
Best wishes everyone.0 -

Love it, can I have one or are they easy to make?!
Norty to park in a disabled bay though...yeah they mean nowt on private land but most disabled peeps don't know that and might be counting on that bay...
Unless you or a passenger have a disability of course - in which case sorry!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi folks. A new update since March and my letter from Excel Parking.
Over the last few months have received:
Two letters from Excel
One letter from Roxburghe
Two letters from Graham White Solicitors. The final one (July 23) says
FINAL WARNING
Bla bla bla we advise you to seek legal advice as the consequences of litigation can be far-reaching, such as Substantial legal cost and statutory interest being added to your debt. Your name being listed on the |Register of Judgments affecting your chances of further credit in the future. Seizure of your assets by Bailiffs. An order to obtain information judgment debtor. It is your responsibility to repay this account to us immediately, and we put you on notice that we shall refer the matter in seven days. This matter will not go away without solution or resolution.
Needless to say no response from me.
Now I have received a telephone call from GW Solicitors - or could it really be Roxburghe? Told them they had made a mistake and to remove my telephone number from their database - which they said they DID!!!!
Wondering how they got the telephone number - perhaps DVLA?
I have now compiled a nice folder of letters; and maybe received the final one. Now for the threatened imminent court action.
Cheers everybody. Thanks for all the great advice.0
