I tissue it off or use cotton wool.

The SA in Lush told me to spray some toner on a cotton wool ball and use that to remove it, doesn't leave skin greasy then x

I use Ultrabland and take it off with a muslin cloth soaked with toner. I also use Angels on Bare Skin - might be another option for you as is also ok for sensitive skin.

    Hi

I know this isn't by Boots but it's very good...A'kin cleanser.

Although I am a huge Liz Earle fan, I love this too.

I now alternate between muslin cloth cleansers and the oil cleansing method and I'm very pleased with the results. Skin is clearer, less dingey and firmer. I buy a ready-mixed oil cleanser rather than mix my own (more expensive but it smells nice !). I'm 54 and a happy bunny.
  • Eric's mum - which ready mixed oil cleaner do you use?
Squares knitted for my throw ~ 90 (yes!!! I have finally finished it :rotfl: )
Squares made for my patchwork quilt ~ 80 (only the "actual" quilting to do now :rotfl:)

    Hi,

sorry, only just catching up with my earlier posts. I use this one, which although it seems a tad expensive does go a long way. I've been using mine every night for 6 weeks now, one pump measure is plenty for my face and neck and I'm about one third through the bottle. I bought the small bottle which cost £11 odd incl p&p, so by my reckoning the bottle will last about 4 months, less than £3 a month. I can really recommend it, I just could not be bothered faffing around with bottles of castor oil etc.

I buy the ready made too, I like the way the oil is designed to disolve with water, the stuff you make yourself doesn't do that.

Smashbox is hard to get but you get 345ml for about £15
Mac you get 150ml for £15
& DHC you get 200ml for about £15

oooo, thanks for those names. I googled for ages looking for different brands but only found Decleor (now discontinued) and the one I eventually bought.

Have you tried the 3 you mentioned, which is your "favourite" ?

    I like Smashbox
My DD loves Mac (I will test hers).
I only have tried samples of DHC & I like it.

Smashbox is getting harder & harder to get, its been discontinued so its just "lucky" finds on Ebay.
Unless Mac is amazing I will go for DHC when I can't get anymore Smashbox.

Soap & Glory do a hot cloth cleanser. Not sure of the price but I think it's under £10.

I've started using this and it's brilliant :T IMO it's better than C&P (which I've used consistently for the last 3 years)

I got it in Boots and it was about £8 including the muslin cloth, I use a small sploge, massage it in then leave for about a minute before removing it with the hot cloth, my sin looks and feels cleaner than it has for ages :D
