Do you know who the best or worst companies are?

I''ve been looking through different lists of companies and found a site I thought I'd tell you about, it’s called 'judgethejob.com'

They basically let you read/write anonymous reviews about your place of work. Some of the reviews make for quite interesting reading really, especially the British Airways one (on the front page). Could also help if you're looking for a new job.

A bit similar to the sunday times top 100 companies in a way, anyway just a thought!

Nope I had thought that when I put the msg together, guess it's ripe for people doing that is it? I just thought given the conversations that it could be quite a useful tool...

you could be right, if it is not your website then it could be a good site, however I suspect you will only get the negative reports rather than the constructive ones

I really doubt it's that anonymous. I bet managers could quite easily work out who a disgruntled employee is by what they've written, especially in a smaller company.

I just thought it was worth a look. I know of other resources such as the sunday times top 100 etc. but what I liked about this is that it was the general public that contributed, and actually there are quite a few positive reviews on there too.

I am looking for work again :-( so anything like this is helpful.

I used the Sunday Times top 100 companies list which was really useful when I was looking for my last job.

I've had a look and yes I think it could be quite useful. I don't think it can be used on it's own but like a lot of review sites can help put the pieces together.

I was a little concerned that people could get caught out but realised you don't have to put all your personal details in to leave a review so its very anonymous. Plus that £50 giveaway could come in handy too so I'll be putting a review in!

Now I just need some good job sites to go, to any recommendations?

Seems a good website I expect that it maybe shut down though when things are said about companies that are not based on fact and they become slanderous. I hope the owner of the site has looked into this otherwise may find themselves in a few law suites!

Seems to be useful but would think some disgruntled ex employee may put a less favourable review on there.

I think this is a great idea.

Thanks for the link, I’ve just left a review. Took less than 5 mins to do and the full access you get makes it really interesting.

It would be good if you could apply for jobs on there too though, but other than that very helpful.
