With the first Region 2 release of season two of Twin Peaks, they released the two seasons together in a boxed collectors Gold Edition this week. We wanted it!
ASDA's website has it for £55 or £35 for the second season on it's own (we own the first season so this was an option I guess) this compared with Tesco for £50, amazon 'new and used' £65 and Play £42 - Yesterday we found our local ASDA store had the Gold Box edition (season one and two) for £32.71!

We were worried it might be a store error but the till rang it through and we are now the proud owners of this boxed set :)
Just wanted to share the tip in case any other fans are despairing at the price! I realise it's not 'cheap-cheap' but it's better than a poke in the eye...

You are welcome! I'm glad my garbled message translated that it was in ASDA, I just reread it and edited it to reinforce that yes, I found it in an ASDA!

Oh wow!!! I have literally just now seen a Tesco advert for this box set, at £50, and thought OMG I want it!! But £32 is quite a saving on that, maybe a trip to Asda is in order!! I loved Twin Peaks! But I wonder if it would be as good second time round, and 19 years later?

I'm on third time round, it's even better than I remembered.
With the passing years between viewings you notice all the typical Lynchian things, the soundtrack makes you feel at home and everything is right with the world despite the dark storylines.
I've just watched the Pilot again, can't wait to watch the episodes again, saving the international pilot for after season two, as it is apparently completely different, I think they marketed it as a completed story , or something.
Anyhow, I thoroughly recommend getting it! We even got a damn fine cherry pie tonight...

Hmm, not in Asda Gravesend and customer service non-existent:

Me: do you know whether you will be getting this in?

    Her: No sorry mate

Me: well do you know whether any other stores locally have it

    Her: no, sorry

    Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Her reactions were as speedy as a toad on valium.
