hey everyone,
Ive just been told its time for me to arrange the mortgage and solicitors for september, can anyone reccomend any Solicitors in birmingham?
Preferably those who are experienced with shared ownership properties?
They dont strictly have to be in birmingham, just as long as they are cheap and reliable!
Thanks everyone!
and the panic is setting in....

Just worth checking with your mortgage lender. SOme have limited panels for Shared ownership work. I donlt know anyone in birmingham though, sorry0

Have a look at these two websites to find a solicitor/conveyancer
http://www.lawsociety.org.uk/choosingandusing/findasolicitor.law
http://www.theclc.gov.uk/directory.asp
You don't need to use a solicitor/conveyancer in your area the firm I work take work from all round the uk. Just be wary of the online firms that quote a real cheap price as you will find if you want to work to a fast deadline then within the small print prices usually go up considerably.

Davidsons solicitors in Birmingham are reputable for this type of work, but not sure of prices wrt to others.0

I have used Davidsons for my personal work- ( as well as clients) they have a few offices dotted around Brum -although the chap I use is now at David Bunn ( Northfield)
both practices will have been exposed to shared ownership... again though your lender may have a panel, or the housing association might have a recommendation.Any posts on here are for information and discussion purposes only and shouldn't be seen as (financial) advice.0
