first time buyer

Hello, I am a first time buyer and I am working abroad in Afghanistan tax free. I am earning around 41500 pounds a year plus. I receive an army pension of 8500 pounds a year. I have no debts and can put 40000 down as a deposit. How much could I borrow and whats the best first time buyers deal for me. My wife works part time and earns around 6000 pounds and I have 3 children. My oldest daughter earms 11000 pounds.Any advise would be truely appreciated
