why is the balanced managed fund not good one? in alot of literature promoted by these companies this is the one they recommend
Let me ask you a question, homer ( just for a change;) ).
"Balanced managed funds" are invested in shares, bonds, property and cash.
Now what percentages of each asset class would you think they should contain in order to live up to their "balanced" name?Trying to keep it simple...

Its a Jack of all trades, master of none fund.in alot of literature promoted by these companies this is the one they recommend.
They dont recommend anything in the literature. It is often the default fund and tends to be "promoted" as the easy option.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
