    Who can buy it.

Narrows the market somewhat. Affordable housing in disguise.
  • We have asked friends, as I said we didn't think it would be a problem, countrywide advisor also said it wouldn't be a problem. One of my friends has put me in touch with her advisor who I am meeting tomorrow. I originally only posted here to see if the valuation that countrywide had carried out could be used by ourselves if we change to the advisor I am meeting to avoid paying for another.

The restriction is a Devon county council s127 (I think!), bsically to buy any if the ex LA houses here you have to have worked or lived in devon for the last 3 years.

With regards to price we are paying is less than others in the area (with the same restriction).

Please dont use Countrywide they are rogues! Had an absolute nightmare with them and it cost me nearly £500!
  • Also, thank you for your comments, they are helping me clarify the situation! And calm down somewhat as I was rather annoyed earlier! As they say, it's good to talk, well type!
