Tesco Loan
Hi all;
Just asking for a bit of advice, i'm applying for a 12k loan from Tesco. This is the first time i have applied for a loan in years and to be honest it seems to be taking awhile.
I have a Tesco CC which i toke out in September, i put just over 1k on it and cleared it of last month, i have my Kitchen on interest free finance (16 months in too 24 month loan) and interest free on Sette 1.4k over 2 years. Only 2 months in.
How long should the process take? As i had it agreed in principle but been chaisng them this week and seems it doing the rounds in there departments, i need the money asap as I have seen a newish car and in order to secure the deal i need to get it by Wednesday.
I earn 27k a year 28yrs old with only the above credit along with mortgage which is at £197 a month due to low interest rates. Only other bills are usual utilities, tax etc. Should there be a problem with the loan? I have never missed a payment etc on anything. And to be honest i could easily afford the loan reypayments. I'm just getting a bit jittery its taking so long!
Normally i would have saved for a new car, but i sold my nice car over two years ago and put the money towards house renovation, since then had a banger to use. Now its falling to bits i want a nice car again etc.
Thanks for any help.

How long ago did you apply?
How long since you were told it was agreed in principle?
Things that can sometimes slow the process down include if you are not on the electoral roll or have you moved address recently.
If its taken more than a week then that would seem unusual.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
Your mortgage is the biggest worry and it is going to cripple so many people. You cannot budget so little for a mortgage. You are one of the lucky ones and should be taking advantage of your situation. Overpay your mortgage as if you were paying 5 or 6%, because it will only be a matter of time before you are. You could pay so much of it now and it would save you thousands.Debt free. March 2020
