One question: I took out a similar deal with O2 Simplicity via Quidco almost a year ago - the contract is up in a bit less than a month. Will it be possible to order this now and still get the cashback, even though I'm still on the other contract?
If anyone can help, many thanks are yours!
Yes, but see my post above.
You can order more than once. Clear Cookies etc before logging in to your Quidco account before you order.0 -
not working at the moment0

You could order it as a second contract, then when the other one has finished ask them to port the number over (I'm guessing that'd be possible but you should phone to check)
The only disadvantage is you have almost a month overlap between the two contracts.
You cannot port over your number from one O2 account to another O2 account.
I used to port the number over to a PAYG Orange Sim card then after a month port it to O2.0 -
yup phone orders only. ah well. good offer tho. i've used quidco had hassle from them and long waits for payment but i have always got the cash and would use them again if this offer was still on.0

NO question is 'thick' if you don't know the answer.
PAC or Porting Authorization Code is only valid for 30 days, on some online contracts there is a box to put in your PAC, I can't remember if there is one with O2, Sorry. If there isn't phone O2 using the Sim when you get it and tell them you would like to port your number over. You will be given a date when it will happen and 99% of the time you won't even notice it's been done.0 -
A word to the wise: If you use your O2 Simplicity SIM to send text messages back to the UK whilst abroad on a regular basis, think twice before cancelling last year's contract and beginning anew.
Inclusive messages on O2 Pay Monthly tariffs (including iPhone tariffs) can be used for unlimited:
texts sent in the UK to UK mobiles,
(for 2009 Pay Monthly tariffs only and not 2010 tariffs); texts sent from abroad (including Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Mann)0 -
The 12 month Sim only at £25.00 per month includes 1200 minutes, Unlimited texts and a bolt on of unlimited o2 to o2 minutes or unlimited landline calls. Just signed up.
Quidco will track the deal as £25.00 until it is validated ( after about 2 months ) and it will then go to £200.00 and be paid a month or 2 after. I have used Quidco for 4 years now and have had £1523.00 back. PM me if you want more details
The deal also includes an IPhone sim only deal with the same minutes etc that I got. Just wished I had an IPhone kicking about
Please excuse my ignorance but am I right in thinking it is the value of the contract not the inclusive mins etc that determines the value of the cashback?
I have just ordered the 'Simplicity 25 IPhone Sin Only' for my son whose contract expires at the beginning of April. This is the 900 mins etc but still costs £25, so will I still qualify for the higher £200 cashback please?
Is it also a good idea to save a screenshot of the Quidco offer? We seek a world in which everyone with HIV/AIDS can live an abundant lifeWant to join us?0 -
