standard life endowment

I have two standard life endowment policies one for £34,500 and one for £2,250. If I surrender the larger one would I still be entitled to the payout if and when demutalisation occurs or is is in proportion to the size of the policy?

No, you would forfeit your right to demutualisation for that plan. As the demutualisation benefit is usually based on the value held in the with profits fund you only receive a payout based on the 2250 value.

It is also worth reading recent past threads on standard life endowments in this section which may give you information you are not already aware of.
