What to with mushroom cupasoups?

Hi, I ordered a pack of 12 mushroom couscous from Approved Food and they've accidentally send 12 packs of mushroom cupasoups (4 soups per pack so 48 cupasoups in all )

They have kindly refunded the cost and let us keep the cupasoups but none of us like mushroom cupasoups and only I eat mushrooms.

Any ideas on what I can do with them, eg could they be used to spice up bolognese?

DD had some of these left from her Dof E expedition. DH said that as a student he'd used them to flavour risotto, instead of stock :D

  • You could add some to a white sauce to go with something nice. Use it instead of vegetable stock for soup-making, risotto as previously suggested and I'd definitely use them in sauce for pasta. But if you're the only one in your household who will eat mushrooms it sound to me like those cuppasoups need to find a new home somewhere.

Mmm risotto - will definitely try that PP - and I like the idea of adding it to a white sauce, I have some quorn fillets which may taste even nice with a mushroom sauce, thanks BitterAndTwisted

I might be able to manage a couple of soups myself and I can always ask in work if anyone will eat them but I know some people are funny about out of date food (even dried things) and I only work in a small place.

Still, they'll last forever won't they  ;)

I make a creamy chicken and pepper cous cous meal and the sauce is basically a tin of mushroom soup. I don't see why a cup a soup wouldn't work instead.
