Bank account after discharge

Hi can anyone recommend a bank that will give me a decent bank account now I am discharged??
I have a basic bank account with co-op at the mo but I live in bournemouth and the nearest co-op branch is southampton which is a nightmare and I would also like a "normal" account if at all possible. Any suggestions??

Barclays basic account?
No OD/chequebook, but it has everything else a 'normal' account would.

Agree with above, I have a Barclays account, which is every bit the same as a 'normal' account, bar the OD + chequebook which I don't want anyway. I have internet banking and also a instant access savings acc there too.0
