OK confession time!
I have fallen off the OS waggon too!
So, thank you mumoffour for posting and prompting me to be bossy to her. It was lovely to read the comments later.
So, new month, not been shopping yet, so that has been 1 extra week on last months money. Have 'employed' the 14 yo to look in all the cupboards and menu plan for us.
Might as well get the kids to help while they are off school. I have got mine doing 'jobs' since they started school. spotted a post the other day that was talking about carving up the household chores, so I think I will take myself over later with my coffee to take a squiz.0 -
I can only echo what other posters have said, but I wanted to add that I am so jealous of you all with kids you aren't fussy eaters!! I try to prepare OS meals and my two (16 and 8) drive me to distraction. DD1 is so fussy she dissects everything offered to her and won't eat anything unless she puts barbecue ketchup on it and DD2 is a little more accommodating but still fussy. The two of them are eating bacon on toast now and moaning and groaning because the toast is browner on one side than the other and the bacon is not hot enough - they have been eating it since 9 o'clock and plates are now just a mess of dissected toast and bits of bacon!! I keep perservering as people say they will eat if they are hungry enough but I don't think they will!! Particularly DD1 who just goes out and buys !!!!!! from the chippy or dominoes etc, which is a joke because she rants on at me to buy ethical food!!!Jane
