how about some of the new nokia phones!!! a lot better than I phone me thinks
except the symbian apps are generally pretty rubbish (in my opinion at least) ovi store is slow and unreliable, games, pretty much non existant, and the push mail..... nokia's closest piece of software that enables it is "STILL" in beta and i can tell why, it barely works with pop3/imap, i asked my old nokia to poll every 15 minutes (lowest time setting allowed i think) and yet i had to manually sync my mail just to be sure i had everything, i never had a chance to use a nokia for push email, but iirc theres no built in option to support it anyway..... as a phone, nokia's are brilliant, for anything else, i wouldnt say so.
though im sure if your willing to pay for push support 3's push mail service is quite good, i got all my gmail emails as soon as they arrived. problem was i got used to it before they told me i would have to pay for it 0 0

            That must be a joke.
I used Nokia phones for ten years and would never switch back from an iPhone.
lol i see where your coming from, i think nokia have stuck in their ways with what used to work (IE before the iphone came along) then realised hey, its whupping our backsides, so lets make symbian a bit more slicker, a bit smoother, oh and throw in that bounce at the end of scrolling menu thing, it looks swish! :P
I can do that on my XDA orbit 2 from ages ago :P nokia only seem to be doing it in their recent X6, 5230.
i won a 5800 about a year ago now, really didnt like anythign about it. soon sold it :P0

One thing to bear in mind is that getting your works email (and appointments, global address book) pushed to your android phone is likely to cost you some money (I'm assuming it's exchange server).
EDIT: A quick search shows that the ability to synch with exchange server is built in to the iPhone.
The ability to synch with exchange server is also built into android. I had mine connected and synched within minutes of opening the box.0

I think your device must be Android 2.x then, as that ability is not in the 1.5 version of the firmware.
According to Google, that the feature will be supplied at all is a decision for the service provider (T Mobile in my case) when the upgrade hits the phones in April/May.0

It's pretty much the best Android phone around at the moment in my opinion. Or at least it will be when it gets here!
It uses Android as the OS but HTC put their own Sense UI over the top and that gets excellent reviews.
 There's a comprehensive review here
 http://www.techradar.com/reviews/phones/mobile-phones/htc-legend-675421/review?artc_pg=1
Summing ti up the phone is technically slightly ahead of the iPhone but the iPhone has the app store but Android is catching up there as well.
If people are going to throw Symbian and Windows phones ionto the mix don't forget there's also the Palm Pre which is highly regarded. It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die0
