Cahoot has increased my flexi-loan rate from 7.9% to 11.9% apr. That's a 50%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! increase.

Can anyone out there beat that?

Did i miss a BOE rate increase? Naaa. Do official Inflation figures show rampant 50% inflation? Naaa.

My electicity bill only went up 30% this year!!!! At the least the increase was connected to wholesale prices.

The increase took place just as CAHOOT was pushing its 5.8% fixed loans to new customers.

CAHOOT appears to have taken up the BUSINESS PRACTICES of a Spainish Property Developer. Then again, its not surprising when you consider it was bought by a SPAINISH PROPERTY DEVELOPER called BANCO SANTANDER.

Needless to say I'm currently in the process of telling CAHOOT to get stuffed.

Can anybody out there supply me with some suitable SPAINISH PHRASES to spice up my communications.

50% increase!!!!!!!! and they tried it on me!!!!!

I had exactly the same thing, increased from 6.6% to 11.something.

BARSTEWARDS. Took me a while to realise. I just paid it off quick and moved on. However they STILL took money from my account once the debt was settled.

  • Exactly the same happened to me. They increased my interest rate from 8.9 to 12.4% with no warning whatsoever. Thankfully i managed to clear the balance onto a 0% for 9 months credit card.
I also found their customer services were appalling.
If at all possible, ditch Cahoot!
