is this enough

i have 4500 unsecured debts is this enough to go bankrupt? i also have 22000 secured loan attached to house which is in negative equity(we are moving out) no sale just giving it up!
i do get confused alot as i thought you had to have over 15,000 unsecured debt to go bankrupt?

any answers appreciated

    There is no set figure really, it depends on whether you are insolvent or not.

    let me ge this right insolvent means, more outgoings then incomings, basically you have not enough money to pay everyone.
