Hi everyone, im currently looking at setting up a DMP with CCCs and just wondered did anyone have any experience of what way the banks in NI respond to dmps? Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated im very scared at taking this step.

Sorry i cant speak for myself, but i have a friend who set one up before Xmas. He had credit card debt and an overdraft with the Ulster bank, he sent them his £1 token payments until it was set up and during this time he had a couple of letters re late payments and 1 phone call where he explained he was in the process of setting up a dmp. Since the paperwork has gone through he told me he hasnt heard a peep from them and he just pays his monthly cccs payment into an Alliance and Leicester account via the Post office.Well I Love Tv And I Love T. Thanks for ur reply I too have an overdraft and credit card with ulster bank just a bit concerned how it would be dealt with here so that is reassuring, I went to first trust 2day to see about opening an account but they started asking too many questions and I just didn't knw what to say so left without doing anything not quite sure what to do as I need a new account set up before I start dmp. Thanks again.LBM - March 2010Paddle no. 15 :j0
