    It might be better in that case to do an SOA just based on what you are receiving/paying out.

    This is what was confusing me - although having done DH SOA gives a clear budget to account for everything.
    I guess as long as I make it clear on the forms somewhere what I'm liable for (Letting agent originally set everything up as joint accounts so i'm named on tenancy, council tax & water) everything else (gas & electric) is now in DH name.
