More on mobile phone contracts

Hi
I added this query to one of the mobile phone contract threads below, but am now thinking I would like advice from as many as possible so I'm giving it it's own post.
Not only do I have my own mobile contract but I have 2 other contracts in my name for my daughters' phones. I pay those directly as part of the maintenance arrangement I have with my ex-wife, rather than paying money straight to her.
I have heard all along on these forums that mobiles arent allowed in BR but that if you put the cost in your landline amount then it won't be a problem. Is it the case that the OR isn't likely to query the landline figure? It would be difficult to have to explain after the fact that the landline amount includes a mobile!
Also, is it the case that if I just say I pay £100 in maintenance and don't specify that some of this is mobile phone contracts that the OR won't care (or enquire)? For info, the rest of the maintenance amount is made up of cash for spending or payment by me for my daughter's theatre group so not too easy to demonstrate either.
I don't want to get too far down the line and then find I am being forced to cancel all of these (especially since the contracts included free gifts which I assume I would be forced to pay for if the contract failed!!!). Another poster says their OR explained that they didn't pay their phone bill it would fall into the bankruptcy and then the OR would be liable to pay it because the contract was taken out before the BR. This makes sense, but is much more "involved" than anything I've heard on the forum before.

Hi sfjnet,
Would it not be possible to include your two children's mobile phone contracts in your BR and get their mother to open new contracts that she then takes the payments out of the £100 maintenance?
It might make your life easier, your kids get new phones and your conscience is clear!0 -
You won't be able to hide a contract phone, as it'll show on your credit file.Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043
Que sera, sera.
