I am in the process of ordering my three credit reports from Experian, Equifax and Call Credit (think thats the three of them).
Presumably the same information will be on both, and that if a creditor appears on all three credit reports, once the creditor has stated their file as satisfied it will appear on all three credit reports - is that right?
I am writing to the creditors aren't I, not the credit report people - that right?
Sorry if that sounds dim, i just want to be fully prepared
Thanks

            Hi Reevesie76,
Yes you are correct. You write to the creditor and ask that they correct your file on each of the CR Agencies they use. The details shown after you have been discharged should be as follows:
Default date = date of BR
Settlement/Part Settlement date = Discharge date
CCJ's = stay as they are but you can ask the creditors to amend the CCJ as settled or part settled but they don't have to.
Also, you will note that all three CRA files will differ, so what is shown on Experian does not always appear on the all of the others, you need to ensure the creditor updates all three or at least the ones they use.
If you haven't already, I strongly recommend reading the sticky on this as all of the info you need is on there.
