Question for others with rosacea...

I have metrogel and do use it from time to time when I'm having a flare up. although I'm really lucky that my flare ups tend to be getting a lot of little bumps on my cheeks that are not all that visible. Going red when I drink alcohol or eat hot spicy food is something I'm just used to by now
so I don't use the gel for that. It is a good thing to have in the cupboard for if your condition flares up properly rather than just something having irritated you.
Glad you got it sorted...
Oh edited to say, metrogel is a bit weird, it doesn't really sink in so is sort of like one of those peel off face masks. I never use it in the day because of this and just put it on at night. But I do have to have a hard look at myself in the mirror before I go to the gym to make sure I don't have a lump of 'skin' peeling off at an odd angle
just warning you... 0 -
Interesting about the tap water thing. I went to South America a few months ago and I sunbathed in high temps and was out on boats with the wind in my face yet had not one flare up. Here, I get it from just spending any time outside.
Also, I just wanted to share with any fellow rosacea sufferers that I have had very good results with using calamine lotion on my skin at night. 80p or so from a chemist."Life is like a game of cards. hi ya, i have redness, not rosacea in my cheeks and the doctor advised me not to wash my face with water and gave me a cream to put on even before i have a shower... the cream was quite drying in my face so decided to use my own creams and it is ok.
I bought the clinique redness relief and it working really well. The cleanser you can either wash with water or use it on its own with cotton wool.Mejor morir de pie que vivir toda una vida de rodillas.0
