Hi, to cover the cost of your emergency fund i would suggest putting your holiday fund up by £20 to £80 and put the other £30 on your clothing to make it £90 (I was allowed these amounts and it's just me and 1 child). I would also suggest that if you are spending £25 on haircuts for the three of you - claim for it. Your other option would be to up your "other child expensses" to £40 - £20 per child per month.
It's well worth putting these up - it will at least give you a head start if your OR questions your Pet Insurance for example - as it would still keep you under the £99.
My OR initially came back saying he wanted £275 from me each month, and after a 5min chat this came down to £163 - all I did was justify my expenses. I know that I would have to pay something and was expecting £150-£200, still a far cry from the situation I was in before. Good luck.0
