If you put a Pentium D 805 at the heart of that then it would meet your price bracket, even including a DVD writer
2.66Ghz Dual Core for £70? Yes please0 -
I was looking at a Pentiums I hread the 805 is a good overclocker. I have 2 pentiums at present but the main rig has noisey fans in case.
I am looking at a barebones system at Novatech

Are you not confident enough to build it from scratch without going down the barebones route?
Can save a fair bit if you do, and probably get a better PSU (Check eBuyer out, they have cheap cases that come without PSUs, and cheap 550W silent PSUs that get good reviews)0 -
I have built them myself but it isnt really much cheaper these days.
I will also be building a crusoe system for main rig for gaming etc. But that might be a month or so away due to limited funds and or lack of crusoe chips0
