Certificate of Satisfaction?

Hello, can someone tell me if a Certificate of Satisfaction is something i can apply for even if the debts contained within my bankruptcy have not been paid? Basically, is it the same as a discharge certificate?
I want to apply for a new job that restricts people with bankruptcy on their credit file, they will accept me if i can provide a Certificate of Satisfaction but i've looked that up and the definition i've found uses the word 'paid' rather than 'discharged'.
Hopefully that makes sense and you understand what i'm asking?

I think you're looking at two different things here.
A certificate of satisfaction is to confirm a CCJ has been paid.
A certificate of discharge is to confirm you're discharged from BR.
As far as I am aware you have to apply to creditors to instruct the court for a CoS, but as the CCJ hasn't technically been paid they are not obliged to.
As for a CoD, you can apply to the court for this yourself, the fee is £60-£80, can't remember which.

To be honest there isn't much point trying to get the CCJ certificate of satisfaction.
The BR order on your credit files is far far more harmful and will stay for longer than the CCJ anyway.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Hi, i've been told that a certificate of satisfaction is required in order to confirm that all debts within my bankruptcy have been settled, it's not a CCJ. The following extract is taken directly from the people who have requested the certificate...Applicants with outstanding County Court judgements, who have been registered bankrupt with outstanding debts, will be rejected. If you have discharged bankruptcy debts then you will need to provide a Certificate of Satisfaction with your application.0
