Whose making the birthday cake then? I would love carrot cake with butter icing please - sure Tenmah would as well if someone else was making!! And I offer to do Tenmah's ironing for the day :)

Well was planning a lemon madeira with zingy frosting....
I think you deserve a glass of something for the shock Elfe.

Luc's remark about 'me time' earlier has hit the spot and I am not going to the rehearsal tonight. Planning a bath and instant dinner in front of the tv. Will maybe produce the Easter service sheet but maybe will not! I have to try on dresses tomorrow so the bath is needed to sort out the winter legs!

What happened to the haddock for the scabby turtles Linda?

Tonight is grooming night - soak in bath, defuzz, attach nails, sort outfit and iron as required, dry and straighten hair (which was handily cut properly at the weekend:D), separate eyebrows...

Also need to clear decks in kitchen, swish & swipe bathroom, hoover through and put bits and bobs away...

    Ooh sounds very productive Luc.

Elfen - poor sore bot bot. Arnica tabs as already mentioned. Take them as soon as you can if you have them.

Bun - glad to hear F is on the mend courtesy of chocolate.

Bookie - good for you taking time for yourself (well, your legs) tonight

Claire - good luck with the cooking

Linda - scabby sea turtles sound lush

Ames - sounds as though you've had a good day!

Tenmah - looking forward to the virtual party on here tomorrow then :)

    Anyone else I've missed - I'm sorry ;)

I can't drink and I have no arnice, will ibuprofen do?

Now, since Pint's away, I have to get to the station under my own steam. I am VERY tempted to take my bike regardless of my sore bum....I reckon I can do it

Yes looking forward to it - probably won't be on til the evening though and maybe early morning because I am off for a full day of pampering (9am to 5pm) courtesy of my daughter's Mother's Day present.

We have full use of the swimming pool, hydrotherapy pool, sauna, steam room etc as well as a full body massage, facial, manicure and pedicure!!

I'm not surprised. That would be my ideal way to spend my birthday too. Just top to toe pampering.....perfect. Enjoy your day.
