£14 matalan on new bras

A no spender for me today - amazingly, as I've just been to Next to return a top I bought, and the sale is still on. :D

Just the main grocery shop for us today: £51.09. this included £11 worth of booze though which BF gave me the cash for when we got home.

I bought some Sainsburys "Basics" hand cream today for 48p....not bad actually. I thought I may as well give it a go (I read in The Money Diet that it's a good idea to try something from the basics range every time cos you never know till you try) so I went for it.

Hands haven't started itching or burning yet ;) you don't need a lot either & it smells ok. So not bad! Better than £2.09 for the cheapest 'branded' make as well

I will see how it goes.......what will I try next week...?
Bank Balance: In the black for the moment.

  • I'm really mad, had to pay £1.50 at the club today for dues (it's only once a month but even so!). Had to get yet another loaf - kids going mad with toast - but only spent 18p on that. Have locked the front door so I don't go out :rotfl: Although do need petrol tomorrow:eek:

Nothing yet. I'm going to the shop in a bit for 12 pints of milk, a box of rice krispies and some wholemeal bread.

£8.71 in Sainsbury's on conditioner (ran out on Weds and hair now resembles a nest) washing powder, fabric softener, razors, baby lotion. As its Sunday I treated myself to a bag of choccy brazils and a copy of you magazine which I'll indulge in later this afternoon after I finish my chores!

Have also swapped some DVD's with best friend for the week - am aiming for a very light spend August and big up for free entertainment!
Proud to be dealing with my debts!;)

£120.00 in town for some of my 2 daughters school uniforms.
    £1.80 on bread and milk.

Still got about another £100 to find to buy the rest of the school stuff they need.
